Lara is an Associate Director of Student Ministries for InterVarsity's Nurses Christian Fellowship. She lives in Jacksonville, FL with her husband, son, and two cats. After graduating from Michigan State University in 2012, she came on staff with InterVarsity as a campus minister and then area director in southeast Michigan before joining the NCF team. Her hobbies include indoor rock climbing, volleyball, crocheting, and hanging out at the beach.

I’m a Campus Staff Minister with NCF at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA! Along with being on staff, I also work as an RN on a medicine step down unit at VCU Health. I love all things Broadway, Coffee and Crafts. I live in Richmond, Virginia with my husband and daughter.

I serve as the Spiritual Formation and Prayer Specialist for NCF. I am married and live in northeastern Wisconsin. We have two sons, a daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, two cats, and an adorable Morkie who keeps us all in line. It brings me joy to experience the beauty of nature through the songs of birds, a fallen pinecone, or a shiny rock. My windowsills are filled with these treasures! Through my ministry with the Daring Way™, I speak and encourage people in small groups and communities to live from a place of courage and authenticity. 2020 has been a year for me to practice both these values. I had the privilege of caring for my Daddy for seven weeks while he was on hospice until his death in August. The grief has left me raw and exposed. But God has shown great mercy and comfort during the months since my Daddy's death through the prayers and encouragement of others. It's been a beautiful example of the body of Christ responding to provide presence and support. Beth is a professor at Loma Linda University School of Nursing in California. She has pursued a program of research exploring the intersection of spirituality, religiosity, health, and nursing for over 30 years. Her clinical experiences as an oncology nurse created for her a deep interest in these topics and led her to pursue a PhD (University of Pennsylvania, 1992), a post-doctoral fellowship (UCLA, 1993-95), Clinical Pastoral Education, and training in spiritual direction. Her life experiences include a stint as Research Director, Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington, New Zealand. The desire to help nurses understand and support patient spiritual health during health-related transitions has motivated Beth to write extensively and lecture globally. Her over 160+ publications include 80 peer-reviewed reports of research, 55 book chapters, and 5 books. These books include: Spiritual Care: Nursing Theory, Research, and Practice (Prentice Hall, 2002; translated into Japanese), What Do I Say? Talking with Patients About Spirituality (Templeton Press, 2007; translated into Korean, Polish, & Dutch), Religion: A Clinical Guide for Nurses (Springer, 2012), and Fast facts about religion: Implications for Nursing Care (Springer, 2019). Beth is grateful for research funding received from various federal government and private foundation sources.

I have been a part of NCF for many years as a faculty advisor, Texas volunteer leadership team, and then as a staff member. Upon retirement in 2016, I became a volunteer and currently I: Support the Texas Nurse Ministry Team that offers an annual weekend conference for nurses and students in East TX. Serve on the NCF Prayer Ministry Team that prays for requests from nurses and students who contact NCF. I respond to each person with prayer and Scripture and send their requests on to the team. Serve on the NCFI CANA Regional Committee (Caribbean and North American Region of NCFI) along with Kathy Schoonover-Shoffner and several NCF members. The NCFI CANA Committee meets regularly via Zoom to support the advancement of NCF in our region, especially in the Caribbean nations and to offer a regional conference every 4 years. I have a deep concern for nurses and students to know Jesus and follow Him with their whole lives and to be equipped to offer appropriate spiritual care. I’m so thankful for the many opportunities NCF has given me to share about the integration of Christian faith and nursing practice and how to have a deep, growing relationship with the Lord through Bible study, prayer and being in community. My husband, our little fuzzy dog, Phoebe, and I live in Central Texas and our daughter and her family live in West Texas. We love being outdoors and staying close to family and friends. Our church plays big part in our lives. I teach a woman’s Bible study, and I have served as a Stephen Ministry Leader since 2017. My leadership role has involved training Stephen Ministers, being a care provider, and serving as Supervision Peer Group Facilitator. God has used this ministry to teach to listen well and to encourage and affirm others through Scripture and prayer. The ministry requires care givers to trust God as the “cure-giver”, and the care giver to be the conduit of His grace, not a “fixer”. I wish I had had this training BEFORE I became a nurse! There is nothing better than seeing God work in others’ lives to save them, heal brokenness and bring wholeness in Him. To God Be the Glory!

I love students and seeing them meet God in transformative ways. I have been on staff with InterVarsity for 20 years. I envision every campus with a nursing program and a Nurses Christian Fellowship where students can meet Jesus at the intersection of their faith and vocation. I live in the Madison, Wisconsin, area with my husband and children; as a family, we like to adventure (camping, traveling, and exploring) together. I read, knit, and hang out with friends.

Josh is a travel nurse who currently lives in Las Vegas and works in L.A. He and his wife Kelli are InterVarsity alumni. They enjoy hiking and being outdoors in their free time. Josh is also a photographer and DJ.

I serve as the Director of InterVarsity's Nurses Christian Fellowship/USA and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Christian Nursing. I am married with three adult children and live with my husband and cat in Wichita, Kansas. Bible study is my lifeline; I participate in a weekly, in-depth study that offers accountability and guidance into the Word of God. I love playing the piano, assisting with worship, and exercise at the local YMCA. Dr. Rajamohan is the Assistant Dean of the School of Nursing and Chief Nurse Administrator at University of Northwestern - St. Paul. As a health professional, Dr. Rajamohan specializes in psychiatric, geriatric, and leadership in nursing. She is an accomplished author, whose published articles demonstrate her passion for mental health, resilience, and person-centered care. Dr. Rajamohan brings a long history of training, mentoring, and leading discussions regarding mental health and suicide prevention. She also holds multiple certifications as a coach, teacher, and speaker. She earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan University (RWU), a master's degree in Nursing from St. John Fisher University, a Post-Master’s Certification in Nursing Education from RWU, and a doctoral degree in Nursing from the University at Buffalo - The State University of New York. Born and raised on the island of Sri Lanka, she immigrated to Canada with her family during the Sri Lankan Civil War. Dr. Rajamohan came to the United States to pursue a Christian education in nursing and will be moving to Minnesota from New York. She has been married to her middle-school sweetheart and best friend, Rajamohan Thambirajah, for over 25 years. She and her husband are blessed with two sons, Ajan and Sujan, who are both pursuing doctoral degrees in New York.

Skip serves in the southeast as a Regional Resource Specialist for InterVarsity focusing on mental health, spiritual formation, Bible study and Nurses Christian Fellowship. Skip has been a Registered Nurse for 46 years. She has a strong desire to help others obtain and maintain mental and emotional health. She worked extensively as a mental health nurse. She has conducted classes to help train others as first responders in mental health crises. Grace Filled Mental Health: The Great Exchange is her faith based mental health course. She is the Founder of Freedomsize Worship Fitness, LLC. This form of worship incorporates worship music and movement to the glory of God. Freedomsize flows out of a deep desire embedded in her heart for many years. She also seeks to lead a healthy lifestyle, encouraging others to do the same. Skip has joined The Agape Center for Spiritual Formation as a Spiritual Director. While serving there, she will offer personal and group spiritual direction, seminars, and retreats. Skip enjoys reading, worship fitness, walking, and writing. She resides in Smyrna, GA.

Tiegan is on staff with NCF as a Campus Staff Minister at UW-Madison and also works as a critical care float pool nurse. She lives near Madison, WI with her husband, dog, and two guinea pigs. When she's not leading a Bible study on campus or working a night shift at the hospital, she can be found volunteering at a local farm animal sanctuary, reading, or trying a new hobby.
